Privacy Policy

RideReady ("we", "our", or "the app") is a dressage competition companion app for iOS, operated by Beach Investments (ABN 85 497 311 701) trading as RideReady. This policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Data We Collect

RideReady stores all data you enter — including your name, email address, horse details, show schedules, scores, care appointments, and documents — locally on your device in a SQLite database. We do not operate a backend server and do not transmit this data to any external service.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Location data
• Usage analytics or crash reports sent to us
• Advertising identifiers
• Any data from third parties about you

3. Payments

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive, store, or process your payment card details. Apple's privacy policy governs payment data: apple.com/legal/privacy.

4. Apple Calendar Integration

If you choose to enable calendar sync, RideReady requests access to your iOS Calendar via Apple's EventKit framework. Calendar events are created on your device only. We do not read your existing calendar events beyond what is necessary to manage RideReady's own "RideReady" calendar. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Calendars.

5. Push Notifications

RideReady may send local push notifications for upcoming show entry deadlines. These are scheduled on your device and do not involve any remote notification service. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → RideReady.

6. Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the app at any time: More → Account Settings → Delete Account. This removes all your data from the local database and cannot be undone.

7. Data Security

Your data is stored in your device's application sandbox, which is protected by iOS's standard security model. We do not transfer your data off your device.

8. Children's Privacy

RideReady is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
